February 2015   2-3-15 Submitted by: Justin Sims Nimbus is a great screenshot tool that attaches to firefox and chrome.  It allows you to select portions of the screen or the entire webpage to capture it as an image.  It then opens the image in a new tab and allows you to add text, highlight, number order steps, add arrows, circle, and draw upon the screenshot you just taken.  This makes explaining where to go on websites, and what to look for very easy.  You can save it directly on your computer or send it to google drive for distribution.  Of course you can added these edited screenshots in presentations as well. http://nimbus.everhelper.me/screenshot.php 2-3-15 Submitted by: David Smith Need to send a fax but don't have a fax machine? You can have closed captioning but only if the broadcast supports the feature. If it does, you can download the podcast to iTunes on a computer, or to an iPad through iTunes, then enable closed captioning in the video settings. http://www.imore.com/how-enable-subtitles-and-captioning-auditory-accessibility-iphone-or-ipad This link shows how to turn on "Closed Caption" on an iPad or iPhone. However, the podcast has to include "Closed Caption" which is added when the podcast is created. 2-17-15 Submitted by: Vicki Clinton In my spare time, HAHA...I have created an updated seating chart of our new buses,  to use on field trips.  The links below contain a PDF file, which is a print only version, and a Word version.  Now the word version you can type in each square (but it is not a template, so the table will need to be adjusted).
